Coffee rituals in the Elbe Canyon with Northern Hikes

The opening of the Bohemian Coffee House is almost upon us, but we still set the rule that good coffee can be enjoyed almost anywhere. Best then under the open sky. That's why we got together with the guys and girls from Northern Hikes and together we will bring the world of selected coffees in the environment of Czech Switzerland to visitors from near and far. We already tried it one hot August afternoon with a group of 13 international travel bloggers. Filtered coffee, divine views of the Elbe Canyon and homemade cakes and strudel amazed everyone involved, including us.

Many locals may have an idea where a place with similar views of the Elbe Canyon is located, others may like to know how to get there. We won't reveal it yet, so it doesn't turn into a complete circus. However, there are dozens of similar beautiful places in the north, and we believe that you will have a coffee picnic at one of them yourself. And maybe send us a photo of it!

For our first group, we took the Chemex, Hario V60 and Aeropress to the rock above the river and demonstrated all the procedures step by step. We have a guide for you according to how many of you will be at the coffee picnic: for two the AeroPress is ideal, for two to four the Hario V60 and if there are four or more, you will appreciate the Chemex the most. We brought our light roasted coffees from Ethiopia , Colombia , Brazil and Indonesia to the grinder, which we warmly recommend to you as well.

Our coffee picnic lasted a little over two hours, but we all agreed that we could easily have stayed with him all day. And since it all went like clockwork, Northern Hikes prepared a brand new hike called Coffee & canyons , which will soon attract coffee and outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world.
